The beauty of mens suits sale is that you are able to get quality brand name suits at a major discount. Clothing has huge mark ups and these sales are not something to pass up when they come around. But at the same time you don’t want to get all crazy and just buy a suit because it is inexpensive.
 

The main colors you will want to stick with are black, dark grey and navy blue. These colors are classic and have withstood the test of times and fashion fads. In other words a suit in this color will be able to last you a long time. Not to mention they are a heck of a lot easier to buy ties for. And if you are a “bigger” guy the dark colors will have a slimming quality. All mens suits sale will have more than enough of these colors to choose from.

Consider the purpose of the suit. A black wool suit is the perfect suit for just about any occasion. A light linen suit is perfect for that tropical cruise you will be taking. And then of course there is the business suit.

Double breasted or single breasted that is the question on which I have an answer. Double breasted suits have a much more conservative look about them. Once their in style they tend to stay in style for quite some time. Single breasted suits are what is more common these days. And even when the double breasted suits are in style so is the single. In other words, stick with the single breasted.

Very rarely will a suit fit right off the rack. And if it does fit, it will have that right off the rack look to it. If you are planning on buying through an internet retailer it is important that you know what your measurements are. You can go to any offline brick and mortar retailer or even a tux shop to get your measurements. Once you have them you are good to go. Once you receive the suit you will need to set an appointment with a tailor to get it tailored and fitting you correctly. And during a mens suits sale the retailer may offer tailoring for free.

Next you need to consider the fabric. There are quite a few choices here so we’ll start off with what not to buy. A linen suit is typically not a great choice. They wrinkle quite easily, stain easily and will cost you a fortune if dry cleaning. Then of course there is polyester. Three words, don’t do it. Same goes for Teflon and microfiber which are basically the same as polyester.

What you want to find in your mens suit sales is a wool suit. And with in the wool category you have a quite a few options as well. But we’ll stick with the main ones which will also be the most common you will find. Your best bet is to go with worsted wool. These are hard wearing medium weight suits. They look and feel good. Another choice would be flannel but this is a much heavier material and therefore much warmer. And unless you’re a poet or critic, stay away from tweed.

Finally you need to consider the cut. The cut is how the jacket hangs from you. There are three main cuts, the American, full and European. The American is your standard cut, pretty much every suit you see has this cut. The full cut has no tapering and hangs straight down. This cut is for the bigger boys. And finally there is the European which is a very fitted cut that is trim and tight.
