Baby Shoes On Sale
Because babies grow so darn quickly it is a true blessing to find baby shoes on sale. Below are some
tips when buying baby shoes.
First off let me say that these tips are for babies that are not yet walking. If you have a baby
that is walking please read our guide on Toddler Shoes On Sale. Having said that let’s get into the tips you
are looking for to save you money and buy the right the right shoes for you little baby.
Depending on how old they are they more than likely have a keen interest in their feet. And with
this interest comes the amazing disappearance of socks and shoes. Every time I turn around out little girls
is barefooted. So you may want to consider a shoe that they might have a harder time taking off. Because
there is nothing more aggravating than realizing there’s a missing shoe somewhere in the department
store.
Now the catch to the fit is that you definitely do not want to buy baby shoes on sale that are to
small. Not only will this give you a cranky baby but you do not want get them started on the road to any kind
of foot problems.
The fit of the shoes should have about a half inch in the toes. Not only will this be more
comfortable but it will also give them some room to grow into. The shoes should be loose enough to allow the
foot to breathe.
Secondly when looking at baby shoes on sale is the kind of material the shoe is made from. While
those plastic Mary Janes may look really cute, they don’t breathe worth a darn. And if they do not breathe
you can get some stinky little baby feet rather quickly. We would highly recommend cotton or leather shoes
with as much organic material as possible. Stay away from plastics.
Think safety first, even if you find some really cute baby shoes on sale that would look adorable on
your baby and at an amazing price. Things to be very cautious about would be shoe strings and adornments.
Shoes strings can prove to be a major choking hazard as it is so easy for them to get their feet in their
mouth. Secondly check any adornments such as patches or plastic items that are attached to the shoe. The last
thing you want is your baby choking on a pink plastic diamond that she was able to peel off her
shoe.
Finally, you need to consider whether or not it is worth it to buy name brand or designer baby shoes
on sale. The cost is significantly higher than buying off brand shoes. Personally, my wife and I do not buy
designer baby shoes even if they are on sale. To us the extra cost is not worth it as they are not in the
shoes long enough.
